Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites South Kingstown Newport Area

Rooms are nice and clean, only lost a start due to fact they are a little out of date.

Pretty much everything about our stay was fantastic... the location, the friendly staff, the spacious and clean room, the filtered water station, and the surprisingly robust and good-quality breakfast offerings. My only suggestion is to have some different pillows available for people who need more neck support. We asked for (and received) multiple different pillows, but they were all really squishy and unsupportive, which led to some discomfort and neck pain throughout our stay. All in all, though, it was a great experience and we would definitely recommend it to others.

Outstanding staff at this Fairfield Inn by Marriott. What's prompting me to write this review is Hector, the very professional gentleman that runs the breakfast and fabulously friendly crew that are really excellent at their culinary service skill set! Hector's attention to detail doesn't go unnoticed. For a hotel, we really couldn't get over the quality of food and selection there is available for guests in the morning. Hector is always pleasant, has a great demeanor, very articulate and is smart how he runs that kitchen and very friendly, tight ship. Great job on his part!! I strongly felt he should be commended. A hotel chain hotel is usually just a hotel. This extra amenity definitely raises the bar and makes it an easy choice to stay at that facility as opposed to many other hotels or motels. Seriously, Hector should be rewarded. It's all in the details in the hospitality industry. Don't ever let him get away! You also have an awesome firepit! Thank you

Im only leaving a 4 star review because there were no plug ins to charge your phones by the beds. Never experienced that and it was very inconvenient. The lamp on the bedside table wasn't even plugged in and we had to crawl up under the table to plug it into the only plug in under the baseboard.

I've stayed her twice in as many months. The staff was very nice and began to recognize me through my stay. The breakfast each morning was very good and it is close to a lot of local eateries and local spots. I would definitely stay here again.

Overall this hotel more than met our needs, suite was spacious enough to share with our 2 crazy boys that we didn’t feel too closed in. The biggest thing though for us is that the morning we were leaving our dog was attacked by another dog. We couldn’t make our trip, and when I called the hotel they immediately accommodated moving us back a weekend in August, peak time. No hassle, no fees for changing, within hours of checking in. That meant the world to me and salvaged the last family trip of our summer. (Pup is ok!)

Recently road tripped around New England and stayed at 9 different Marriott properties. This was the nicest and cleanest of All of them. Clean and front desk was friendly. They told us that the breakfast was great of which we were apprehensive but for complimentary it was great.

Such an excellent, clean hotel. Very modern rooms with new fixtures and a nice flat screen tv that does Netflix & other streaming. The shower is lovely and fancy, and the service is exceptional. Conveniently located to the beach and not too far from Newport if that's your thing too. Just excellent all around, and well priced as well.
